The Outdoor DAS and Small Cell Implementation course streamlines the implementation process, illustrates key considerations for each step, and highlights external factors and the material impact.
Topics will include access rights and easements for street furniture and pole attachments, relevant standards and codes for compliant implementation, and best practices around the implementation of all system components.
The course also teaches ideal practices for installing small cells on utility poles. With over 75% of small cells expected to be placed on utility poles, special considerations need to be addressed when installing cellular equipment above the power lines.
